UNC-Chapel Hill is now number one in the nation for producing Luce Scholars, surpassing Harvard, which has held the position for years. UNC College seniors Nicholas Anderson (public policy major and Robertson Scholar) and Rachel Harper (biology major), along with 2007 College alumnus Jennifer Cimaglia (classical archaeology/ Morehead-Cain Scholar) were among 18 Luce Scholarship recipients nationwide this year. It was only the fourth time in Luce history that three students from the same school were selected. The Luce Scholarship supports a year of living and learning in East or Southeast Asia.
